8 Random Things

I've been tagged for 8 random things.

• I can repair or build almost anything mechanical, but only if I really want to.

• I never expected to marry, I dated a girl in high school that was the same way! We have been married 32 years now!

• A woman can bring me to my knees if she kicks me in the nuts! (and it has been done)

• It's a known fact that I love speed, I traded an airplane for a motorcycle. Now not a week (when I ride) goes by that I don't scare the jeepers out of my self. "GOD I love that feeling"

• As a kid I never had any expectations of what I wanted to be, and here I am today!

• My best feature is I will help a friend with anything, anytime or place.

• My worst feature: wrong me and you are screwed.

• My favorite vacation was when my wife and I loaded the car, and headed that-a-way. The only thing we had to do was be back in 14 days.

2006 Hayabusa

This is my hobby, a modified 2006 black and gray Suzuki Hayabusa. Most of the "Mods" so far have been cosmetic, but the new titanium exhaust system has removed 18 lbs, from the weight of the bike and added about 20 hp. The bike has been Dyno'ed at 170 rear wheel HP. And 100 ft. lbs of torque.

This is my second Hayabusa, my first was a 2004 limited edition, a beautiful red bike with a black frame. It was totaled by a little old lady talking on her cell phone as she ran a stop sign. I hit her car at 50 MPH, destroying my bike and knocking the rear axle out from under her car! No broken bones for me but since I ended up 75 feet down the road lots of "Road Rash".

Now for a little rant. I have many friends that will not wear a helmet when on their bikes. Even after seeing my helmet! I just can't understand this! With out my helmet that day, I would not be here writing this blog. Go figure.
